  3. يضاف إليه العدس و يقلب ثم الرز و يغمر بنصف كمية الماء المغلي و يقلب ثم يغطى على نار هادئة مدة ١٠ دقائق.
  4. تضاف إليه جميع البهارات مع زيادة الماء المغلي مع التقليب المستمر حتى يهرس.
  5. يجب مراعاة التقليب المستمر في هذه المرحلة حتى لا يلتصق بالقاع ويحترق مع زيادة الماء المغلي كلما احتجنا.
  6. عند وصول المزيج لمرحلة الهرس يجب أن يكون مائل لخليط الكيك.
  7. يقدح السمن في قدر خارجي ثم يصب على الرز.
  8. يسكب الرز في طبق التقديم و يزين بالبصل المحمر و يقدم معه صوص التمر الهندي(الحمر) و صوص الطماطم (الكتة) و السمك المقلي و الرينجة المدخنة او الحوت الناشف و الوزف (سمك صغير جدا مجفف) و بالعافية.
